POETRY

Broken for You

Reena Mary Georgea

Touch life
tenderly
like seed cotyledons,
with warm, safe
Fatherly
hands to deliver,
embrace and
set free.

Heal life
grace-fully
like seed cotyledons
that give body
and blood
for struggling
foothold-seeking
frailty.

Surrender life
trustfully
like seed cotyledons,
transformed
in consecrating,
the Sacrament
of the present
moment.
